August Update
Just a quick update on whats going on with Rhythm. We just had a great time organizing at SDC's Summerfest 10, and got to jumps with lots of old friends as well as meet many new ones too. We have lots of events coming up in the fall and next year and wanted to give a quick update.
Tunnel Camp at Paraclete XP, Aug 20-23rd
Take advantage of our last tunnel camp before the Paraclete XP prices increase. We can work on both solo RW skills as well as do coached 4 way. Don't have a group but want to do 4 way? We can match you up with others for some 2on2 or 1on3 coaching. Prices for the August camp are $1100/hr with one coach or $1200/hr for two coaches. Team for a Day - MWSL Competition, Aug 28th at Skydive Chicago.
A special Team for a Day opportunity. Join a player coach team with JaNette and compete at the MWSL meet for the day. Contact janette@rhythmskydiving.com for more info.
Team for a Day - Sept 4-6th
We are able to add another Team for a Day weekend to the calendar, Labor Day weekend, Sept 4-6th. See here for more details on Team for a Day: Team for a Day Contact janette@rhythmskydiving.com to sign up.
4 and 8 way player coach projects for 2011
We've had a lot of success with our 4 and 8 way player coach projects in 2010. Check out this video from our latest 8 way training camp:
We will be expanding the program into 2011, and offering 4 and 8 way player coach team opportunities for all levels. Player coached teams are a great way to get a fun, productive, hassle-free team experience, learn a ton, and guarantee a full-season fixed budget and schedule with no surprises and train at two world-class facilities, Skydive Chicago and Paraclete XP. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or new to competitive RW, there will be an appropriate team for you. Schedules and prices will be finalized in the fall, with applications due in December/January. Schedules will be set to allow people to participate in both 4 way and 8 way. For more details contact janette@rhythmskydiving.com, or look for an info packet in September.
16 way at US Nationals 2010 at Skydive Chicago
During the last weekend of Summerfest, Steve organized a group to compete in a cross-dz 16 way competition. The dives were challenging and fun. Check out the video here:
As a result of the success of this event, there has been a lot of interest in putting together a 16 way team to compete at the USPA nationals at Skydive Chicago in September. If you're interested in more details, contact Steve at steve@rhythmskydiving.com.
